Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Quest Innovative Solutions on 27 November 2025 to promote collaboration in research and technology transfer across disciplines of mutual interest.

The MoU aims to facilitate joint research initiatives and knowledge exchange between faculty and staff of both institutions, fostering innovation and industry–academia collaboration. The agreement was signed by Dr. Arvind Ajoy, Dean (ICSR), IIT Palakkad, and Mr. Bijesh M. G., Director, Quest Innovative Solutions.

Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kanchipuram on 10 February 2026. The MoU aims to facilitate exchange of information on research and educational programmes, and the joint organization of seminars, conferences, workshops, and short-term courses, among other collaborative activities.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Athira P, Dean (Academics) and Dr. Arvind Ajoy, Dean (ICSR) on behalf of IIT Palakkad, and Prof. M. V. Kartikeyan, Director, and Prof. Jayabal K., Dean (Academics) on behalf of IIITDM Kanchipuram.

Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth on 24 February 2026 to establish a dedicated Electric Vehicle (EV) Skilling Facility at the IIT Palakkad Technology IHub Foundation.

Through this initiative, ICICI Foundation will provide financial support under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes to develop state-of-the-art EV skilling infrastructure aimed at creating industry-ready talent in electric mobility. The facility will focus on hands-on training, practical exposure, and employability-oriented programmes in EV technologies.

The MoU was signed by Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad, and Mr. Girish S, Regional Head, ICICI Foundation, in the presence of senior officials from IIT Palakkad, IPTIF, and ICICI Foundation.
